Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has gone viral for the wrong reasons once again.
This time the former first-overall draft pick was heard bragging about the size of his genitals during an exchange with Lakers fans in Los Angeles during the playoff opener.
The incident began with Edwards bragging to fans about the career earnings of his teammates as he waited to check into Saturday night’s victory.
‘Rudy got 200 million,’ Edwards told the fans while sitting on the scorer’s table, referring to center Rudy Gobert. ‘He got 300 million.’
Gobert had $261 million in career earnings entering this season, where he’s slated to earn another $35 million. He’s also signed through the next two seasons for nearly $75 million.
Edwards then grabbed his crotch and yelled: ‘My d***’s bigger than yours.’
The crowd quickly went from heckling Edwards to laughing at his comment.

This is not the first time Edwards has gone viral for an inappropriate comment. In 2022, the former University of Georgia star posted a video of shirtless men, whom he referred to as ‘queer-a** n****s.’
He issued an apology soon thereafter.
‘What I said was immature, hurtful, and disrespectful, and I’m incredibly sorry,’ he wrote on X. ‘It’s unacceptable for me or anyone to use that language in such a hurtful way, there’s no excuse for it, at all. I was raised better than that!’
He was later fined $40,000 by the league.
Edwards also faced negative publicity in December of 2023 when an Instagram model accused him of impregnating her and offering her $100,000 to get an abortion. The woman posted screenshots of the purported exchange, which Edwards has yet to address publicly.
‘I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time,’ he said in a statement at the time.
