Gbs: Milan willing to ‘raise their offer’ for Bologna star Orsolini…see more

Riccardo Orsolino will be an opponent in the Coppa Italia final for AC Milan. However, according to a report, he could be a teammate from next season as the Rossoneri are preparing to make a new attempt for the winger.

The Coppa Italia final between Milan and Bologna is scheduled for May 14th and for both teams, it’s an incredibly important clash. Orsolini, as the star and leader of the Rossoblu, will be looking to play a key role just like he did against Inter last weekend.

As reported in today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Orsolini-Milan story goes beyond the Coppa Italia final, though. Indeed, the Rossoneri have been keeping their eyes on him for quite some time and after making an offer in January (€18m plus loan of Noah Okafor), they are ready to make a new one.

Milan are willing to ‘raise their offer’, per the newspaper, and it might the difficult for the Rossoblu to say no in that case. This season, the 28-year-old has bagged 14 goals and 4 assists but he’s yet to face Milan, having been on the bench in the 2-1 win earlier this year.

The bigger question, however, is whether Orsolini will be willing to ‘downgrade’ from Bologna to Milan if the former were to make the Champions League cut.
