Athletic Bilbao star Williams names what he would steal from Leao…see more

Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams admitted that there is something he wishes he had in his arsenal that Rafael Leao does.

Leao has become one of the best players in Serie A since his arrival from Lille back in 2019, winning the league MVP award in Milan’s 2021-22 Scudetto-winning campaign and becoming a consistent producer in terms of getting double digits in goals and assists.

On the flip side, the Bilbao star is one of the most talented forwards in LaLiga and continues to be linked with a big-money move to Barcelona or to the Premier League. The 22-year-old has 11 goals and seven assists in all competitions this season.

Williams gave a long interview to DAZN in which he also spoke about some of the players that he watches to try and improve himself, with his comments relayed by MilanPress.

“What would I steal from Leao? His strength, when he gets going he is unstoppable. He is very fast and has a lot of strength,” he said.

“Many times he uses his body well and does not even need to dribble. He stretches for the ball and recovers it by winning the challenge with the opponent. I would steal this from him.”
