LeBron James responds to a referee call after the Minnesota Timberwolves secured the huge 116-113 game 4 win against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers were at their A-game, but the second half altered the entire scenario. After the game was tied, it was a 50/50 chance for both teams, but the Timberwolves managed to defend their home court at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Los Angeles Fans were devastated as the team suffered another massive defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves in game 4 clash. They were up against the final moments on the clock, and James believed he got enough of the ball without making too much contact with Ant’s hand on the play. “First question I was just looking for somebody to get open,” James told the reporters after he was asked about the final moment.

“You know we still had two seconds to get the ball across half court but everybody kind of went into the front court, you know if I could take it back you know in a timeout maybe just have one guy break open to the to the back court We still had time,” James said.

“I mean that that play happens all the time. You know? Hand is part of the ball. That’s what they say, and um, I feel like the hand was a part of that ball. I was able to get his hand on top of the ball the ball stripped down out on him. So, um seen that play over and over before, but it is what it is,” he added.

James scored 27 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks in the game. “We got some really good looks,” Jame admitted. “Luka [Doncic] missed a point-blank layup to put us up seven. I missed a point-blank layup to put us up four. We had a couple opportunities. I don’t think fatigue had anything to do with that. Just missing some point-blank shots, you know? We were getting into what we wanted to get into. We just weren’t able to convert.”

Anthony Edwards, who added a massive 43 points in the game, came through in the clutch for the Minnesota Timberwolves, making two crucial free throws after a successful challenge. Edwards had been fouled by LeBron James in the final moments, but he knew it was a clean call. “Great overturn by the refs,” Edwards said, acknowledging the video review that changed the game’s momentum. With his free throws, the Timberwolves went up by three with 10.7 seconds left. Los Angeles had one last chance to tie the game, but Austin Reaves’ corner 3-pointer at the buzzer fell short, sealing a 3-1 series lead for Minnesota. The Lakers now face a do-or-die Game 5 at home, with their playoff hopes hanging by a thread.
