After a controversial Game 4, the Los Angeles Lakers are on the brink of elimination in their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Here is all the latest news you need to know about the Los Angeles Lakers heading into Game 5
With a controversial finish in Game 4, the Lakers are officially down three games to one against the Timberwolves. Unfortunately, this means that the odds are stacked against Los Angeles.
In fact, the Lakers haven’t won three games in a row since March 16-19. Additionally, very few teams have come back from a 3-1 record to win an entire series. However, if someone can pull this off, it’s LeBron James.
Despite the loss, the most upsetting Lakers news came when it was reported that someone had vandalized a mural dedicated to Kobe and Gianna Bryant.
While a GoFundMe was started to raise money to restore the mural, star point guard Luka Doncic went ahead and paid for restoring the entire graffiti.
Luka also had a standout performance in Game 4, recording 38 points, two assists, one total rebound, one steal, and one block.
In a postgame interview, Lakers small forward Rui Hachimura weighed in on what needs to happen for the Lakers to come out on top against the Timberwolves. Namely, he believes that Los Angeles needs to focus up on executing the task on hand and making small adjustments that could have a major affect on the food.
This season, Hachimura averaged 13.1 points, five total rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.8 steals per game across.
