MN: The major Conceicao headache before Bologna game…see more

Preparations will continue at Milanello today ahead of AC Milan’s Coppa Italia final clash against Bologna, and there is one big doubt to resolve.

As this morning’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), the head coach Sérgio Conceição , has not yet made up his mind about the attack, more specifically who will start between Luka Jović and Santiago Giménez.

One doubt to resolve

The doubt is to understand who between the two can be more effective starting from the beginning and who, on the contrary, can have a greater impact by coming on as a substitute during the game. Tammy Abraham is third in the pecking order, but also a very useful substitute.

The Mexican is in much better form than he was a couple of weeks ago. He scored twice against Bologna in the league off the bench, with three goals in his last three games and an assist to his name as well.

One dilemma is that the Serbian has also had more of an impact when coming on in the final part of games, aside from the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg. Essentially, Milan have a group of ‘super sub’ strikers but no obvious starters. Conceicao has 48 hours to make a big call.
