Larsa Pippen is no stranger to media attention, but she’s drawing a firm line when it comes to false rumors-especially those linking her to NBA rookie Bronny James.
The reality TV personality and ex-wife of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen spoke out strongly after DJ Vlad, a former DJ turned internet journalist, implied in an interview that she might be romantically involved with the young Los Angeles Lakers guard
Appearing on The Jason Lee Show, Pippen firmly denied any connection to Bronny James and took direct aim at DJ Vlad, accusing him of creating drama for clicks.
“That’s crazy-it’s crazy town,” she said in disbelief.
There’s no reason to literally talk s**t about me every single time he interviews someone.”
Pippen expressed frustration with her name continually being dragged into conversations, especially when the rumors have no basis.
“I didn’t know Michael Jordan’s kids. I wasn’t part of that whole situation. I just met them recently,” she added, referring to the longstanding belief that the Jordan and Pippen families were closely connected due to the Chicago Bulls dynasty of the 1990s.
The rumors come not long after Pippen’s highly publicized breakup with Marcus Jordan-Michael Jordan’s son-in 2024. The relationship attracted attention from the beginning, not just because of the couple’s age gap, but because of the intertwined legacies of Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan, who won six NBA titles together.
Critics often assumed Larsa had known Marcus since he was a child, an implication that added controversy to their romance. But she has consistently denied that narrative. In a post-breakup interview with Today, she clarified the situation.
“I never really knew Marcus or his mom or them. I just recently met them a couple years ago.” She emphasized that despite their ex-husbands’ on-court history, their families were never personally close.
Following the breakup, Marcus Jordan was arrested for DUI-an event that DJ Vlad and former NBA player Gilbert Arenas hinted was somehow Pippen’s fault. Once again, she found herself forced to defend her name. She denied having any influence over the incident and labeled such suggestions as unfair and unfounded.
Pippen has become a recurring subject in DJ Vlad’s interviews with athletes, many of whom have offered less-than-flattering opinions of her. But she says she’s had enough.
He’s a loser,” she said bluntly on The Jason Lee Show, accusing Vlad of using her name to stir up controversy and attention.
While Larsa Pippen remains a polarizing figure in the media, she’s made it clear that she won’t stay silent when false stories surface. As for the rumors involving Bronny James, she has dismissed them outright-and hopes to leave the baseless speculation behind.
