Legendary ex Milan coach, Arrigo Sacchi, spoke with a hint of sadness about AC Milan and their disastrous season.
Here are his words as found on the La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper in this morning’s print edition
“Milan is a group of players who have been assembled randomly. I’m not even discussing their individual technical qualities, although I could: the problem is that they are not players capable of forming a team.”
Sacchi added:
“Now they go shopping abroad and I don’t understand why: players arrive from different experiences and cultures, and you have to try to blend them together, but how is it possible to give the team a recognizable style like this?”
