Roma legend Francesco Totti touched upon the possibility of returning to the club as an executive figure.

Present yesterday evening at the Stadio Olimpico to watch the Coppa Italia final between Milan and Bologna, Francesco Totti spoke to TRT Sport, commenting on the evening and dwelling on some topics related to Roma, in particular the future of Claudio Ranieri and his possible return to Trigoria.

“Roma has definitely changed with Ranieri,” said the legendary club captain. “Ranieri has brought great enthusiasm and, as we can define, he is a true ‘man of Rome’.”

“He has done an extraordinary job, taking Roma from the bottom to playing for the Champions League qualification. This is a journey that must certainly be appreciated, and for this we are all happy with him.”

“My return to the club? If there was an opportunity to have an important role in Roma, I would definitely consider it,” he added.

“Roma has always been my home, and if one day I were to be called, we would sit down and evaluate everything. I have been an important player for Roma, and if there were to be an important role within the management, I would consider it.”
