Alexis Saelemaekers will return to Milan at the end of the season with Tammy Abraham headed back to Roma.
As reported by Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, the verbal agreement stipulated in the summer between the two clubs has expired, and in January no agreement was found on the respective valuations of the two players’ pricetags.
Milan is now waiting for a possible official offer from Roma to sign Saelemaekers on a permanent deal, but treating it as a separate operation, without constraints with Abraham’s return to the capital.
The two clubs are expected to meet in the coming weeks and assess the situation.
