In Spain, there were rumours that Xabi Alonso requested to sign a left-back to strengthen his new Real Madrid side. There are several players on the list that fit the bill, like Alvaro Carreras from Benfica among others. There have also been rumours linking Real Madrid to Theo Hernandez, for a possible return of the Frenchman: at Real they know him well and are aware of his enormous value.
There is nothing truly concrete at this moment between the player and Real Madrid. Clearly, a return to Real could be something that pleases Theo, but as of today, there is no kind of conversation.
