Fbs: Milan out of Europe in 2025-26…see more

Sunday’s loss against Roma means Milan won’t play in any European competition in 2025-26.

Milan lost 3-1 away against Roma on Sunday night and will not play in any European competition next season.

The Giallorossi took an early lead with Gianluca Mancini, and Santiago Gimenez was sent off a few minutes later.

Joao Felix levelled the score before the break, but Leandro Paredes and Bryan Cristante, a product of the Milan academy, gave all three points to the Giallorossi, who remain in the race for the top four.

Milan sits ninth in the Serie A table with one game remaining, but they are five points below Lazio in sixth, which means they can no longer reach a European placement.

The last time Milan didn’t play in any European competition was in 2019-20 when they accepted a plea bargain and were banned from UEFA tournaments for a season after breaching Financial Fair Play rules.

Milan’s last game of the season is against Monza at San Siro next week.
