Tijjani Reijnders continues to be linked with a move to Manchester City, and according to Fabrizio Romano, the English side have officially opened talks with AC Milan.
Reijnders has been a very important player for Milan this season and you could argue that he has been one of, if not the, best midfielder in Serie A. With 15 goals and 5 assists in all competitions, he has surpassed all expectations.
Unfortunately for the Rossoneri fans, however, this success has caught the attention of some big clubs. Manchester City are one of them and according to Fabrizio Romano, they have opened official talks with Milan over a transfer.
The Etihad side are keen on closing a deal quickly, both in view of the Club World Cup and to beat other clubs in the race, and negotiations will continue next week. Then, as per Romano, the first official offer will be put on the table.
Italian journalist Daniele Longo has added that Man City are willing to offer €65m for the Dutchman, while Milan want at least €75m for their star. It remains to be seen if an agreement can be found but at least according to the reports, the interest is very concrete.
