LeBron James, one of the most talented and popular players in the NBA, might have lost in the playoffs but the NBA icon recently made it to the All-NBA teams for the 2024-25 season. While some fans of the Los Angeles Lakers’ star player was excited about LeBron James, most fans are frustrated with it. The situation got worse when LeBron James made a post about it on X.
A few hours ago, the 40 year old NBA icon, posted on X, “ALL NBA at 40!! Low key crazy to me right now! Sitting here watching the playoffs just thinking about it. Blessed beyond I can even imagine.������” but it has sparked outrage among fans
A fan commented, “The only player to be selected All NBA with negative +-, Nothing but a straight FRAUD. The League been carrying your bum a*s your whole career”, while another fan wrote, “Nothing like hoping on social media to congratulate yourself. Truly great players don’t need to keep telling everyone they’re great. Actual great ones let others do it for them.
A third fan commented, “You should put those hands to other uses than patting yourself on the back. Trying winning playoff games”, while another fan wrote, “It’s amazing how long you can stay in the league when you never actually care about winning.
A fifth fan noted, “You really posted on social media to congratulate yourself. Your ego is so fragile it’s comical. Jordan would never”, whilr another user posted, “NBA is rigged. Bron wasn’t top 40 players this year. Defense is a part of the game too.
It seems like most of the criticism comes from a few of LeBron James’ controversial statements that he made recently on Mind the Game podcast.
After the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the playoffs, LeBron James said, “Teams win championships. It’s never just about me and Luka… there’s 8 other guys on the floor…I’ve definitely learned over the years that teams win championships. Always… I don’t lose sleep over that.
