Manchester City are expected to push for the signing of Tijjani Reijnders over the next few days and the Dutch midfielder walked around the San Siro turf with his son after the final game of the season on Saturday night.

Sky Sport Italia has recently reported that Milan and Manchester City are in advanced talks over Reijnders’ move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Premier League giants have an extra transfer window available at the start of June as one of the teams participating in the Club World Cup.

Reijnders started in Milan’s 2-0 win over Monza last night, and Goal.com describes what the midfielder did after the final whistle.

According to the report, the Dutchman hugged all his Milan teammates and then remained alone with his son, walking around the San Siro turf.

A few minutes later, he also posted a black-and-white picture of himself holding his son in his arms.

Reijnders has recently signed a contract extension until 2030. Even if Milan have failed to qualify for European competitions this season, CEO Giorgio Furlani insisted the Rossoneri don’t need to sell any of their stars for financial reasons.
