AC Milan legend, Kaka, has named six favourites players to compete for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
The 43-year-old picked Mohamed Salah, Kylian Mbappe, Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha and Virgil van Dijk for the Ballon d’Or.
He, however, noted that this year’s Champions League final would play a vital role in the Ballon d’Or.
The ex-Real Madrid attacking midfielder told SPORTbible: “For [this year’s Ballon d’Or] race, I’d say Mohamed Salah. Virgil Van Dijk, should get recognition as well.
“I’d say Kylian Mbappe, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
“Dembele has a really good season as well, and if he can be the protagonist in the final [of the Champions League], he will be one of the favourites as well,” he stated.
This is coming less than a few days after Yamal was backed by a former Barcelona forward, David Vila to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
