In the early hours after his return to the Rossoneri, Allegri got in touch with Leao, both directly and through the club, sending him a message that needs no interpretation: “I want you to stay.” In other words: Leao must stay because he will be central to the new Milan. Allegri intends to smooth out his flaws and amplify his strengths, aiming to build a tactical project capable of bringing Milan back to the top of Italy and, why not, Europe as well.
