It’s not just Real Madrid that has changed coaches recently. While Xabi Alonso replaced Carlo Ancelotti at the helm of the first team, Massimiliano Allegri left Juventus de Turin behind to take charge of AC Milan. Now in charge of the rossoneri, he is leaving some signing suggestions to the Italian team.
Paolo Maldini’s sports management already knows that Allegri wants the incorporation of two midfielders that fit with his tactical proposals. One of those two suggested signings by the veteran coach is Luka Modric: the genius from Zadar arrives free from Real Madrid, without renewing a contract that will officially expire at the Club World Cup this summer. He is not the only footballer who could arrive from the capital of Spain.
The new AC Milan coach would have set his sights on the first team to request the signing of Dani Ceballos. Massimiliano Allegri wants a midfielder with some experience in the European football elite, but who does not exceed the age of 30: the ’19’ from Madrid meets the profile demanded by the Serie A club.
Not at all a complicated situation
In the offices of Valdebebas, they have not yet reacted to AC Milan’s hypothetical interest in acquiring the services of the Andalusian midfielder. But there are two very different versions regarding this soap opera, because Dani Ceballos currently wants to stay at Real Madrid. The arrival of Xabi Alonso marks the beginning of a new stage, certainly exciting, even for the second-string footballers.
The possibility of receiving more playing minutes than those enjoyed under the tactical command of Carlo Ancelotti seduces the Spanish ’19’, who has not considered the possibility of leaving the merengue squad either. The white sports management shares his optimism regarding the new stage started with the coach from Tolosa, but with one exception: they are willing to listen to offers for the midfielder.
Two paths at the same time
That means that Dani Ceballos’ permanence in the first team of Real Madrid is not entirely assured. If a good offer arrives, economically adjusted to the value of the player, the white executives would meditate their response. That possible departure of Dani Ceballos would take more integers in case his new contractual conditions improved the current prerogatives.
However, Real Madrid expects some movement from the clubs that want Dani Ceballos. The Spanish midfielder ends his contract in the summer of 2027, although it does not seem that the board of directors has foreseen an extension of that period. That is why they would be willing to listen to offers for the player while he continues to offer his best football now under the orders of Xabi Alonso.
