Sport news: Palmeri comments on Reijnders and Maignan talks: “Milan sold terribly… see more

This was the post on journalist Tancredi Palmeri’s X profile. There’s little room for interpretation. The figures speak for themselves, and this isn’t just about depreciation or slightly lower-than-expected returns — it’s almost worse than that. Reijnders was initially expected to leave for at least 70–75 million plus bonuses. Instead, he joins Manchester City for 55 (plus bonuses, of course).

Maignan, who is the captain and one of the few positive figures in this season’s difficult campaign, has started talks with Chelsea, and Milan is doing nothing but waiting for offers, showing no real intent to keep him, apart perhaps from Max Allegri. And indeed, the real risk is that he leaves for the Blues for “just” 15 million euros. Maybe Tancredi’s comment isn’t so far from reality or from the kind of scenarios no one would have imagined back in August 2024, as pointed out by MilanPress.it.
