Rafael Leao is once again being linked with a move to Barcelona during a summer where the Catalans are eager to sign a left winger.
The word from Italy is that AC Milan could even be willing to offer Leao in a swap deal that would see Ronald Araujo head the other way.
Araujo has signed a new contract this year at Barca and said he wants to stay, but his release clause drops to €65m at the start of July which may make things interesting.
The rumor mill now thinks that new Milan coach Massimiliano Allgeri wants Araujo and is willing to send Leao in the other direction.
A move for Leao has been talked up in the Catalan press before, with Mundo Deportivo previously claiming he is “crazy” about joining Barca and the feeling is he would “explode” in Catalunya.
Indeed there has been speculation about Leao’s future at Milan throughout the 2025-26 season and questions seem to being asked once again as the summer transfer window reopens
