According to transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano, Monza have agreed a deal to sign Zeroli on loan, with no buy option included in the deal.
The agreement which was sealed today was brokered by Rafaela Pimenta and the player will be a key part of Monza’s project for next season.
The Italian-Nigeria is returning to the Biancorossi for a second spell, having spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, making eight appearances in the Italian top-flight, including four starts.
Zeroli has caps for Italy at U19 and U20 level but remains eligible to play for the Super Eagles thanks to his Nigerian mother.
The 20-year-old became provisionally cap-tied to the Italians on November 15, 2023 when he started a European U19 Championship qualifier against Liechtenstein.
After his competitive debut for Italy’s youth teams, he starred in the 2024 U19 Euro, scoring in back-to-back games against Norway and Northern Ireland.
Zeroli has been on the books of AC Milan since 2010, rising through the ranks to make his senior debut in a Serie A match against Sassuolo in December 2023.
The midfielder signed a new contract in April 2024, keeping him at the Rossoneri until the end of the 2027-28 season
