The Los Angeles Lakers recently confirmed their $10 billion sale to Mark Walter, which could only mean great things for the hallowed franchise, considering Walter’s impressive track record as the controlling owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
While most members and supporters of the Los Angeles Lakers are excited about the news, FS1’s Colin Cowherd issued a warning to one of their star players, Luka Doncic.
“That ownership group and the front office moved off Cody Bellinger, a National League MVP, and Corey Seager, a World Series MVP,” Cowherd explained on The Herd. “If (Luka Doncic) doesn’t get in shape, if Luka doesn’t defend at a higher level, they’ll move off him. They will hold Luka accountable.”Cowherd is not the first to express his concerns over Luka Doncic’s conditioning, as former Los Angeles Lakers stars Magic Johnson and Robert Horry also voiced their worries. To Doncic’s credit, he has been working his butt off this summer, reportedly looking slimmer than ever.
