Barcelona need to find money to fund their planned signings, and Andreas Christensen has ended up on AC Milan’s radar again.
After the arrival of Joan Garcia from Espanyol, Barcelona dream of signing Nico Williams. The sporting director Deco spoke openly about him saying that he has shown interest in the Blaugrana and that the Catalan club ‘will try to take him’ if there is the possibility.

However, considering the economic constraints to be respected, Barcelona are now thinking about who to let go, to make room for new arrivals in the summer market. One of the profiles identified by the club is that of Andreas Christensen, as per Sport (via MilanNews).
As per the report, the central defender does not want to leave Barcelona, but at the same time his situation should be monitored because several clubs are interested in him. Among them, some from Saudi Arabia and also Milan.
The Rossoneri tried to sign him during the most recent winter transfer window, but at the time the player had no intention of leaving. It is likely that the interest is still standing in their eyes, especially give the rumours of departures.
As for the Saudi clubs, the operation seems complicated, given that the former Chelsea player is not tempted by the idea of living in the Middle East. The source explains that the Dane has only one idea in mind: to establish himself in Hansi Flick’s team.
There is a problem for the Dane: there is at present a large group of players in his role, from Pau Cubarsí to Iñigo Martínez to Ronald Araujo and Eric Garcia. Christensen made just six appearances last season, and Milan were linked with him when his deal at Chelsea was expiring.
