AC Milan wish to focus in a mix of youth and experience this summer, and that is why they have their eye on two young talents.
It is well established that Milan like to focus on players who have high potential and can develop into future starts, even if the results from the last season have forced RedBird Capital to change some of their plans.
As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanPress) report, Milan have already got a couple of targets in mind that they hope will bring some experience and leadership to the midfield department, namely Luka Modric and Granit Xhaka.
However, given one is 39 and the other is 32, they cannot bank on them for years to come. Thus, talents with high potential are being looked at, with Christos Mouzakitis of Olympiacos and Yanis Messaoudi of Racing Club de Paris on the radar.
The former is only 18 years of age has already made his debut in the first team, playing mostly as a starter in the second part of the season. He would cost around €20m, but Atletico Madrid are also interested in him.
The latter is a central defender born in 2009 (therefore only 15 years of age) who plays for Racing Club de France U17 team. He has impressed the Rossoneri scouting department in the 23 games played this year.
