AC Milan are ready to improve their offer for Ardon Jashari and they hope it will be enough to get Club Brugge to finally accept.
As the Charles De Ketelaere signing three years ago showed, negotiating with Club Brugge is not an easy task. The talks over Jashari have been a back-and-forth just as they were for the Belgian playmaker, with the main thing being that the player wants the move.
Naturally Brugge are standing firm to get the price they want for the MVP of the Belgian league in 2024-25, which is widely reported to be €35m plus bonuses. Milan have not met it yet, but another relaunch is being planned.
The latest update comes from Fabrizio Romano on his X feed: “AC Milan are set to improve their proposal for Ardon Jashari. Final package to get close to the club record sale for Club Brugge with Charles De Keteleare. It happens after player’s position very clear: he only wants join Milan.”
Romano’s colleague Matteo Moretto reported yesterday that there is currently a €5m gap between the fixed amount that the Rossoneri last put forward (€30m) and the requests of the Belgian side. We’ll see if the new raised proposal finally brings an end to the saga.
