Noah Okafor has only just returned to AC Milan, following his loan spell at Napoli, but it’s probably best for him to keep the bags packed. According to a report, the Rossoneri are very keen on offloading him.
The start of the pre-season is scheduled for Monday next week, but some of the Milan players had fitness tests at Milanello this morning. Noah Okafor was one of them, as was the new signing Samuele Ricci, and he rolled up in a blue (presumably Napoli-themed) Lamborghini.
While he hasn’t been completely shut out of the project, at least when compared to players like Emerson Royal and Yacine Adli, it’s clear that Okafor’s future isn’t at Milan. With Besiktas and RB Leipzig expressing an interest, the Rossoneri are keen on selling him.
According to Antonio Vitiello, speaking about the winger’s situation on his YouTube channel, Milan want to offload him as soon as possible. The rumours of a move to Turkey are a bit exaggerated for now, as he puts it, but the Rossoneri have set a price tag.
After what was undoubtedly a very poor season from Okafor, Milan are willing to settle for €10-12m provided that we’re talking about a permanent sale. Currently, his value on the accounts is €9.3m, meaning a €12m sale would be a capital gain of €2.7m.
