As Theo Hernandez published a farewell message to the AC Milan fans on social media yesterday, several of his now former teammates left heartfelt comments.
The move to Al-Hilal was made official yesterday afternoon and shortly after, Hernandez published a message on his Instagram. While it included some controversial statements against the club, he thanked his teammates and above all Paolo Maldini.
In the comments, several Milan players – as well as Maldini – left comments with heartfelt messages for the Frenchman. Clearly, the Frenchman was well-liked in the squad and replacing him will not be an easy challenge for Igli Tare.
