Ismael Bennacer has been made aware he is not a part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans at AC Milan, and Al-Hilal could again provide a solution.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) report that Bennacer is expected at Milanello on Monday 21 July, when the team will already be training in Singapore, but Milan are actually hoping Bennacer finds a new team first.
Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal have made inquiries about him, partly because Theo Hernandez heavily endorsed his former team-mate. Giorgio Furlani and Igli Tare would be more than happy to part with the Algerian’s €4m net salary.
It would be a different story if Al Nassr were to come knocking for Pulisic. The American is considered a key player in the project, but since he hasn’t yet renewed his contract, Milan cannot feel fully safe just yet.
The club have an option to extend it until 2028 but they are aiming for the new deadline to become 2029, raising his salary to €5m net per year. With the salaries offered by Saudi Arabia though, it can become impossible to compete.
Yacine Adli is also considering an offer from Saudi and if he doesn’t say yes in the next few hours (which seems unlikely), he’ll have to be at Milanello tomorrow to undergo fitness tests and then begin preparations with Milan Futuro.
The same fate awaits Devis Vasquez and Marko Lazetic, who aren’t part of the Rossoneri’s plans. Real Betis continues to push for Emerson Royal, but have also inquired about Samuel Chukwueze as well.
Malick Thiaw also declined Crystal Palace’s offer and is increasingly determined to stay (in which case, a centre-back won’t arrive). A new team must also be found in Yunus Musah, who can bring in fresh money.
The same applies to Noah Okafor, Tommaso Pobega and Lorenzo Colombo too. The problem is that the latter, however, is currently the only striker available given Santiago Gimenez will get extended leave after the Gold Cup.
