Ardon Jashari has reported for training with Club Brugge but he is expected to be kept to one side, as per a report from Belgium.
This morning, Ardon Jashari reported to Club Brugge’s training centre as scheduled for the resumption of training. The Swiss midfielder, long in the sights of Milan, will initially not train with the team having missed all pre-season training and has been keeping fit by training alone.
Nieuwsblad in Belgium (via MilanNews) have provided an interesting update, stating that the player is unlikely to play in tomorrow’s friendly against Lokomotiva Zagreb or Sunday’s Belgian Super Cup against Union Saint-Gilloise.
The newspaper also discusses the negotiations between Club Brugge and Milan for Jashari, which have so far stalled despite the Swiss’s determination to wear the Rossoneri shirt at all costs. The offer, just over €30m excluding bonuses, is still deemed too low by Brugge.
It really does leave us questioning where things go from here. The player has made it clear he wants the move and even missed the Club Brugge start of season party to prove his point, but the Diavolo seem unwilling to raise their offer and the Belgian club will not budge either.
