Atalanta star forward Ademola Lookman would prefer a move to Inter Milan if the opportunity arises.
Per Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews, the 27-year-old is ‘excited’ about moving to San Siro.
Despite becoming indispensable at the Gewiss Stadium, Ademola Lookman could leave Bergamo this summer.
Indeed, after Gian Piero Gasperini’s switch to Roma, the Nigerian is re-evaluating his future at Atalanta.
Meanwhile, Inter are ready to test the waters as Piero Ausilio views Lookman as a ‘dream’ signing.
Nonetheless, the deal remains complicated.
Lookman has been Atalanta’s headline performer in the past three years.
Therefore, Ivan Juric’s men are reluctant to lose their best player, especially after parting ways with Gasperini.
However, if it comes to that, Atalanta will require around €50 million to sanction the versatile forward’s exit.
On the other hand, that price tag would likely derail Inter’s chances of signing the ex-RB Leipzig star.
For now, Inter must focus on selling Mehdi Taremi, whose departure would free up space for another forward.
