AC Milan are reportedly keeping alive another idea if Rasmus Hojlund does not arrive, and it is not Dusan Vlahovic.
In his editorial on TMW, Niccolò Ceccarini confirms that Milan are ready to make the final push for a striker, The team is now being completed and a new centre-forward is the icing on the cake, after Koni De Winter and a right-back arrive.
The Rossoneri have decided to accelerate in the last few hours and the name currently in pole position is Hojlund. Manchester United’s openness to the loan formula with no obligation to buy has changed the whole scenario.
The Danish forward has become the priority and Milan want to try to close this operation as soon as possible. Also strong in the will of the player who has already given his approval to the transfer. The Hojlund operation could have an overall value of €45m: Milan want a loan for €5m with an option to buy at €35-40m.
It is clear that the Rossoneri, while waiting to be able to define everything, must necessarily keep other options open. The truth is that the first alternative to Hojlund is Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen, who has a contract until 2028 and a value of around €40m.
The Vlahovic option remains a hot topic, even if it’s not as hot as it was last week. There’s no shortage of issues here either: Juventus are currently asking for around €20m, plus there’s also the salary of €12m net per year. So, Boniface is currently Plan B.
