CM: Declan Rice describes Gabriel Magalhaes using three words…see more

The PFA Team of the Year has been announced, and three Arsenal players have made the cut.

The Gunners, for the third season in a row, finished as the runners-up in the Premier League last term, and many of their players performed well.

However, only three of Mikel Arteta’s men were named in the PFA Team of the Year on Tuesday night.

Declan Rice, who won Arsenal’s Player of the Season award, made it in, as did the Gunners’ two star centre-backs William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.

Gabriel is one of Arsenal’s best players.

The Brazil international has been at the club for over five years now, and he has shown consistent improvement year on year.

After being overshadowed by Saliba for a while, people started noticing just how good a player Gabriel is for Arsenal.

Now, for the second year in a row, Gabriel was named in the PFA Team of the Year along with his good pals Rice and Saliba.

The former Lille man took to Instagram to celebrate his achievement, and Rice heaped praise on him using three words from Gabriel’s famous song at Arsenal.

“King of Brazillll,” he commented under the post.

Arsenal supporters absolutely adore Gabriel.

It took some time before the Brazilian could win everyone over, but in the last few years, he has become a fan favourite at the Emirates, so much so that they have a brilliant song for him.

For those who have never heard it, Gabriel’s song goes:

“You’ll fall in love, I know you will, our number six is the king of Brazil! Our centre half, he’ll give you hell, our wall at the back is Gabriel! Ole ole, ole ola!”

That song is where Rice’s ‘King of Brazil’ praise comes from.
