Como have approached Milan to ask about the possibility of signing Alex Jimenez on loan with option to buy, claim Sky Sport Italia, but Real Madrid complicate matters.
The 20-year-old is prized for his versatility, able to play on the right or left, as a full-back, a wing-back, or even in a more advanced attacking role.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Como have asked Milan for information on potentially signing Jimenez on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
It remains to be seen if the Rossoneri will be prepared to listen, as he is still part of new coach Max Allegri’s plans.
The biggest problem has to do with Real Madrid, who still have a buy-back clause to bring him to the Bernabeu for €9m in 2025 or €12m if that is delayed until 2026.
That was part of the agreement sealed when Jimenez was sold to Milan in the summer of 2024 for €5m following an initial loan spell.
The Spaniard amassed 28 competitive appearances last season for the Diavolo, providing two assists.
