The Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe story has been going on for years now. The Frenchman has never appeared closer to leaving Paris Saint-Germain than he does at this point in time though. For the first time, PSG are the ones looking to part ways with him. That is because they do not want to lose out on a significant transfer fee as his contract runs out next summer and it does not look like he is interested in signing an extension.
The likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and a few more have been touted as possible destinations for Mbappe. But unsurprisingly, Real Madrid have been placed as heavy favourites to sign him.
It feels almost inevitable that Mbappe would end up at Real Madrid someday. There is still a lot of uncertainty about the timing of the move though
It is a win-win situation for Los Blancos. They could try and sign Mbappe this summer, replacing Karim Benzema in the process. Or they could sign him next summer, getting arguably the best player in the world as a free agent.
There seems to be an update on the situation of Mbappe and it is a very positive one if you are a Real Madrid fan. As reported by MARCA, Rodrig Faez said:
