Nathan Butler-Oyedeji is considering a move abroad following his release by Arsenal at the end of the month, according to a report. Nathan Butler-Oyedeji made his senior debut for Arsenal in 2024/25, but he was subsequently included on a list of 20 players to be released by the Gunners at the end of June. With Butler-Oyedeji’s contract coming to an end, he’ll be available as a free agent this summer, albeit with a training compensation payment due to Arsenal. That’s because he spent his entire academy career with the Gunners, going back all the way to 2011. Pete O’Rourke reports…
It seems that Theo Hernandez may end up staying at AC Milan this summer, despite heavy rumours of an exit. The handling of Theo’s situation, from top to bottom, has been woeful. From the side of the player, the club and interested clubs it has been messy completely, and now, there is a real issue about what happens next. Exit bound It seems difficult to actually imagine a situation where Theo remains, simply due to the look of this summer. As soon as contract negotiations collapsed, it was on the mercato for the Frenchman and interest was present. Al Hilal…
Santiago Gimenez arrived in January with a heavy transfer fee, and so far, AC Milan have not seen it paid back. So, another striker could arrive. There needs to be time and faith with Gimenez. After all, moving from the Netherlands to Italy is a big step, and we have seen that it takes time to truly develop; look at Tijjani Reijnders, for example. Nevertheless, Milan cannot really wait. So, it seems that another No.9 will arrive in the summer, and it is due to requests from Massimiliano Allegri. As the report states, Gimenez is not ‘100% fit’ for Allegri’s…
With Tijjani Reijnders gone and Yunus Musah expected to follow, AC Milan need coverage and quality in the middle of the pitch. The rumour mill is whirring, constantly, right now. Every minute of the day, it feels like a new name or idea is linked to Milan. Then, each continues to be updated, so the picture is a little unclear about what the Rossoneri are actually prioritising. Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below), though, have written about the situations and priorities. The preference Target number one is Granit Xhaka, and it seems unlikely that this will change just yet. There…
Santiago Gimenez, today, has offered a suggestion to the mercato department at AC Milan ahead of the window opening. It is expected to be a big summer for Milan, and it seems that additions will come across the pitch. The Rossoneri have already been busy even before the mercato has opened, and there are a number of targets for every department. Recently, there has been a big focus on Dusan Vlahovic, news that Gimenez would surely like to quieten if he can. However, he also has an idea for the summer. Speaking to Record MX, via Pianeta Milan, the Mexican…
AC Milan have been keeping tabs on Victor Osimhen this summer, and there is a big reason why this was the case. There have been a number of rumours about Serie A stars this summer, but the big value players are still Osimhen and Rafael Leao, and it seems that a move for the latter could have made Milan consider a deal for the former. In the past few weeks, there have been a few whispers about interest in Leao, which the Rossoneri are still attempting to shut down. Nevertheless, Bayern Munich have done the most to make the club…
Arsenal are expected to be among the busiest Premier League sides this summer, as they look to match English champions Liverpool and end Mikel Arteta’s long wait for another piece of major silverware. The north Londoners have a few key items on their transfer agenda over the coming months. Arsenal are already set to end their search for a new back-up goalkeeper early doors, with Chelsea shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga agreeing to join them. If all goes to plan, he will come in to replace Neto as an understudy to David Raya, and Kepa is apparently set to fight for his…
Five years ago, the Marshall Islands launched their mission to shrug off the status as the last country on Earth without a football team. In December 2022, they ramped things up by hiring Oxford-based coach Lloyd Owers as their technical director. “At the moment, the focus is on building from the ground up,” he said in an interview with Sky Sports, shortly after his appointment. At that point, he had not even visited the tiny nation – made up of five islands, 29 atolls and around 60,000 people, which is situated in the Pacific Ocean, more than 3,000 miles off…
Arsenal have made a major breakthrough in the Benjamin Sesko transfer saga and are better placed than ever to sign the RB Leipzig striker, FootballTransfers can exclusively reveal. Sesko, 22, has been increasingly close to the Gunners in recent weeks but negotiations over a transfer fee had proven to be tricky. Sources close to the deal have disclosed to FootballTransfers that there has been significant progress regarding the transfer fee and structure of the agreement between Arsenal and RB Leipzig. An official bid from Arsenal is, therefore, expected early next week. Top officials from the Bundesliga side were in London…
Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard reacted to the announcement of the departure of a long-serving Gunner. The news was not particularly well received, given the winger is 30-years-old and saw his performances dip when compared to the 2023/24 season. Arsenal fans were critical of the decision to open contract talks with Trossard, but the winger is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal. Despite the condemnation of the decision, the former Brighton man remains an important part of Mikel Arteta’s squad, registering the Gunners’ second-highest total of goals and assists last season, behind only Bukayo Saka. Trossard has…
