Antonio Conte has made clear what sort of team he wants to join when he eventually returns to elite-level management seven months after being sacked by Tottenham. The Italian enjoyed a stellar first season at the helm of Spurs, ensuring the north Londoners qualified for the Champions League at the expense of neighbours and fierce rivals Arsenal. However, things fell apart in spectacular fashion during his second term and his position as manager quickly became untenable. Conte’s relationship with everyone from the fans, his own players and the board deteriorated to a point where his exit was the only logical…
Antonio Conte and Tottenham did not part ways on good terms earlier this year and the Italian coach appears to have had a little dig at the North London club with his latest comments. The 54-year-old was sacked as Spurs boss in March after he went on a rant about the club following a 3-3 Premier League draw with Southampton on March 18. Conte said via GOAL: “It is easy in this way [playing without pressure or importance]. Tottenham’s story is this, 20 years there is the owner and they never won something but why? The fault is only for the club,…
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been vandalised, causing significant damage to the £1.2billion stadium. Mail Sport has learned that Spurs’ home ground has been targeted during the international break, resulting in parts of the ground being damaged. A person has been arrested following the incident on Monday night. There are no indications the incident is motivated by the ongoing Israel/Palestine conflict, pertinent given Tottenham’s strong ties to the Jewish community. Sources have indicated that the cost of the damage will run into at least six-figures. A Tottenham statement read: ‘We can confirm that an individual was arrested for criminal damage following…

It’s perhaps no surprise to understand that Liverpool are again looking towards the Bundesliga for new signings ahead of the January window. Jurgen Klopp’s experience in and knowledge of the division, not to mention that of current sporting director, Jorg Schmadtke, makes the German top-flight a fertile hunting ground as far as the Reds are concerned. Indeed, only this summer Liverpool did business with Bayern Munich for the signing of Ryan Gravenberch, and it seems that the Premier League outfit are on the hunt for another of the Bavarian club’s players. Liverpool have identified Leroy Sane as their top target to replace Mohamed Salah, according to reports. Jurgen Klopp is prepared to smash the club’s transfer record to buy the Germany international next summer. Liverpool resisted offers from the Saudi Pro League in the summer for Salah. Al-Ittihad were willing to pay up to £200million to make the Egypt star the poster boy of Saudi Arabian football. The Reds felt it was too late in the window to sell the 31-year-old as they would not have had time to bring in a replacement. Salah has remained tight-lipped on the topic and…
