After a slow start on track this season, Hamilton has added two wins to his now 84 race victories with the Silver Arrows. He has won six of his seven drivers’ championships at Mercedes, so it is no surprise that he is making an effort…

Chelsea have had a very interesting week in the transfer market, as proceedings with Atlético Madrid hit a stumbling block, stopping Samu Omorodion joining the Blues, and Conor Gallagher from going in the opposite direction. The Blues have now pivoted to long-term target, Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, as their number one target. However, it is believed they are watching multiple striker situations develop as they assess their next move. Osimhen made 32 appearances in all competitions last season for Napoli, scoring 17 goals, providing four assists, and totalling 2,476 minutes played. According to reports from The Independent, Chelsea could look to test the resolve of Brentford…
One of the common themes from AC Milan’s mercato so far is that they have shifted to giving new signings a four-year deal as opposed to the five-year contracts they used to hand out to younger players. Milan have today closed the deal for Youssouf Fofana who will be the fourth signing of the Rossoneri mercato after Alvaro Morata, Strahinja Pavlovic and Emerson Royal. The four signings have one thing in common, the length of their contracts. As the lawyer Felice Raimondo points out, the Milan management have made a very precise and reasoned choice to give their new additions a four-year contract with…

The France international is expected to put pen to paper on a four year contract in San Siro, running until the summer of 2028. RMC add that Fofana could even arrive in Italy before the Serie A season kicks off this…

Quarterback Russell Wilson will make his Steelers preseason debut against the Bills on Saturday night, coach Mike Tomlin said. Tomlin, who spoke following the Bills-Steelers joint practice Thursday, said Wilson will “be a participant” in the team’s second preseason game as long as he doesn’t experience any setbacks to the calf injury he suffered on the eve of the team’s first training camp practice. Wilson, who split first-team reps with Justin Fields during team periods of the joint practice, said Wednesday he wasn’t concerned about aggravating his calf injury if he played in the preseason. “I don’t play with fear,” Wilson said. “I never have. Finishing second on the team in scoring to Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, James truly did it all for Team USA. While James’ numbers were MVP-caliber, some have argued the award should have gone to Curry for his performance in the semifinals and gold medal game. After scoring 36 points to help defeat Serbia in the semifinals, Curry added 24 points in the gold medal game…
Aston Villa are reportedly willing to blow Napoli out of the water to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea this summer. Lukaku returned to Chelsea for £97m from Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 but things didn’t go to plan despite his claim he has “unfinished business” at Stamford Bridge, as he hit out at then manager Thomas Tuchel and claimed he wanted to return to Inter in a bombshell interview. The striker has spent the last two seasons out on loan from Chelsea, first back at Inter and then with Roma, with the Belgian scoring 21 goals in 47…
