Jaylen Brown is dealing with a few lingering injuries heading into the Celtics’ final stretch of the regular season. Joe Mazzulla and the Celtics elected to sit Brown for Friday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. But, even with the league’s best record already clinched and six games left (including Friday), it seems resting Brown for this entire stretch isn’t in the cards. “He made it through [Wednesday’s] game well. I think it’s just managing the guys throughout the rest of the season,” Mazzulla said before Friday’s matchup.

Red Bull junior Ayumu Iwasa was all smiles after his official F1 baptism of fire in Friday’s Japanese GP opening practice with RB, describing the experience of lapping Suzuka in an F1 car as “a special feeling”. The 22-year-old Super Formula racer replaced Daniel Ricciardo in the 60-minute session which was fortunately held in dry conditions. Iwasa acquitted himself well, steering clear of trouble and running consistently through RB’s aero programmes, clocking in at the end of the session P16, less than second off his teammate Yuki Tsunoda’s best lap.
Unless the Los Angeles Lakers manage to win the NBA Championship this season there is a decent chance that the team will consider a head coaching change. It was an ugly night on Wednesday (April 3) for the Edmonton Oilers at American Airlines Center, where they were crushed 5-0 by the host Dallas Stars. The Stars blew open the game during the second period with four goals in a span of 5:48, turning a one-goal lead into a five-goal advantage. Forwards Jamie Benn, Radek Faksa, Wyatt Johnston, Tyler Seguin, and Sam Steel all scored on Oilers goalie Calvin Pickard, while Dallas netminder Jake Oettinger made 35 saves to record the shutout.
Sure, the Edmonton Oilers might not have been expected to go into American Airlines Center and knock off the Western Conference top-dog Dallas Stars.
