The Arsenal Sporting Director was in talks with Leão over the phone this month to make Arsenal’s interest known. The Portugal international is tied with Sergio Conceição’s Rossoneri over a contract set to expire in 2028.
Leão may leave for pastures new as Milan have failed to qualify for Europe next season.
