Breaking news: Ibrahimovic and Moncada in dressing room after Lazio loss what filters

AC Milan fell to yet another damaging defeat on Sunday night, this time being beaten by a controversial penalty in the 98th minute against Lazio.

As Calciomercato.com write, Sergio Conceciao has gone from winning the Supercoppa Italiana and dancing in the dressing room with a cigar in his mouth to three consecutive defeats and ninth place in the table.

It seems like the script of a horror movie, but it reflects a very worrying trajectory. The Portuguese coach is liked by a good portion of the fans because of the honesty and clarity of what he says, but the surrender on the field shows a team that are not improving.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada went down to the dressing room at the end of the match last night to be with the team in a moment that to define as difficult would be an understatement.

The two directors confirmed their confidence in Conceicao too, something that was not an obvious choice considering the three consecutive defeats and the premature elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Feyenoord.

Milan are now nine points behind fourth place and it could become 11 if Juventus were to beat Hellas Verona in the late game tonight. Conceicao is certainly not the first person responsible for such a failed season but he has clear faults that will sanction his farewell at the end of the season.

  1. Now, the former Porto boss has the aim of leaving by adding the Coppa Italia to the Supercoppa Italiana for his personal trophy cabinet, in addition to that of Milan.
