The deadline for exercising this option was June 20, meaning Jović will officially leave the club once his contract expires on June 30. Sources suggest the player may continue his career at either Cruz Azul or Botafogo.
Jović joined Milan from Fiorentina for €500,000 in the summer of 2023 but never secured a regular starting spot at San Siro. The Serbian forward scored 13 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions for the Rossoneri.
