Breaking news: player Rating AC milan 1-1feyenoord theao Hernandez to blame

AC Milan were held to a 1-1 draw against Feyenoord on Tuesday evening and thus got knocked out of the Champions League. Theo Hernandez was mainly to play for an unnecessary red card and below are the player ratings for the Rossoneri.

If you haven’t already, make sure to check out how we decide the player ratings. From the scale to what affects the rating, we have compiled everything there.

Starting XI

Maignan (6): He couldn’t do much about the goal and overall, he did well with his feet. He also anticipated some balls high up the pitch at the end.

Walker (5.5): It was a good start to the game for him with a great ball for Pulisic that led to the corner before the first goal. However, aside from a shot that was nicely saved, he struggled to have an impact and also lost the battle with Bueno in the second half.

Thiaw (7 – MOTM): We saw some fantastic passing from him this evening, not just having success with low vertical passes but also long balls to the flanks. He used all of his strength in the defending and also got the assist for Gimenez’s goal.

Pavlovic (6.5): It was a really good pass on Feyenoord’s goal, we must admit, but perhaps the Serbian could have done slightly better in keeping the opponent out. That being said, he defended really well aside from that and was also one of the few to try things in attack.

Hernandez (2): It feels like a repeat of Musah’s display against Dinamo Zagreb, with two incredibly silly and unnecessary yellow cards. Milan were en route to a good win, completely dominating Feyenoord, but the red card changed everything. He should hang his head in shame because that dive was unacceptable and he knows it.

SubstitutesBartesaghi (5.5): Obviously, it’s a difficult situation to enter into but he could have done better on the goal, for sure. The rest was okay from him, truth be told, but he’s still not quite ready to feature regularly for the first team.

Fofana (5.5): Not dreadful, but most of his passes were blocked tonight. It just looks so funny when he tries to come up with a smart vertical pass and then it gets easily stopped. It happens far too often with him sadly.
