Alexis Saelemaekers is enjoying another good campaign after recovering from injury, and he will return to AC Milan in the summer, even if his future is not with the club.
In the past few months, Milan have been subject to consistent talks with Roma about the situation with Saelemaekers, with the Giallorossi keen to try and land the winger before anyone else has the chance to do so.
However, so far, they have not gotten any fruits from their labour, with it almost guaranteed that he will return to the Rossoneri in the summer, as Corriere dello Sport write, via Milan Press. However, his long-term future is not in red and black.
It seems like he will leave in the summer mercato, and the Belgian wishes to continue in Rome, where he has already bought a property. However, it will come down to numbers, with Premier League and Bundesliga clubs taking an interest. Whilst this weekend’s opponents, Fiorentina, are also interested.
Roma will continue their interest it seems, and the cards of Tammy Abraham and Bryan Cristante have been added to today, with the Roman club also considering allowing a move involving Lorenzo Pellegrino, who may be more of a consideration.
