La Gazzetta dello Spor reports that Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes met Kenan Yildiz’s parents in Turin, with Chelsea and Manchester City among the clubs interested in the Turkish talent.
Yildiz’s parents met Jorge Mendes in Turin this week. The Portuguese agent was spotted at Caselle Airport on January 31. He formally travelled to Italy to watch his son in a youth football tournament, but according to Gazzetta, he attended transfer meetings as well.
Mendes, in fact, was spotted at a restaurant in Turin city centre alongside Yildiz’s parents.
According to the report, the pair also posted a picture on social media, but it was quickly deleted.
Gazzetta claims that Yildiz has attracted interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and PSG. The Turkish talent extended his contract in Turin less than a year ago, but Gazzetta warns that ‘everyone has a price’ at the Allianz Stadium, so an offer in the region of €80m-90m would convince the Old Lady to sell the 19-year-old.
Yildiz has six goals and five assists in 32 appearances across all competitions this season.
The Bianconeri are reportedly looking to raise funds to sign a new centre-forward next season, ideally Victor Osimhen, who has a €75m clause.
