Report: Arsenal named as 5th most valuable club in world football…see more

Arsenal have been ranked the fifth most valuable football club in the world, according to the latest global valuation by Brand Finance, placing the North London side ahead of both Manchester United and Manchester City in overall enterprise value.

The report, published this week and cited by Mundo Deportivo, places Real Madrid at the top of world football’s financial hierarchy, with a valuation of €6 billion (£5.06bn).

Barcelona are second on €4.4 billion, followed by Liverpool (€4.26bn) and Bayern Munich (€4.2bn).

Arsenal, valued at €4.028 billion (£3.4bn), complete the top five, narrowly ahead of Paris Saint-Germain (€4.003bn).

It means Arsenal are one of only six clubs to surpass the €4 billion mark, reflecting a resurgence in both their on-field performance and commercial strength under Mikel Arteta and the Kroenke’s sole ownership. The club’s sustained Champions League presence, significant global following, and expanding commercial partnerships have helped reinforce its financial stature in recent years, closing what was once a large gap.

Below the top six, Manchester United sit seventh at €3.67bn, just ahead of their city rivals Manchester City, valued at €3.52bn.
