Report: For Milan’s match against Liverpool, just under 55,000…see more

AC Milan is preparing to start their Champions League adventure tomorrow at the San Siro as they will face Liverpool.

For the fans, the negative start to the season, with controversies, open cases, and a struggling Fonseca, had inevitably dampened the desire to spend and invest significant amounts to watch this match live at the stadium.

A different story, however, played out for the game against Venezia, which ended with a sell-out and a 4-0 victory that boosted morale. Ticket sales for the Liverpool game have indeed picked up significantly since Saturday evening, but a large part of the stadium is still available.

Only 55,000 tickets have been sold so far, and with a capacity of over 75,000, there are around 20,000 seats still available. Milan has decided to keep ticket sales open until the day of the match, so many can still secure a ticket for the Champions League debut.

Since Friday, September 6, the general sale of tickets has started and will continue until just before the match. Prices start at 59 euros.
