Liverpool will be hopeful that Virgil van Dijk can recover from illness in time for their clash against Brentford after he missed their Europa League defeat
.The Reds captain remained on Merseyside for their trip to Toulouse on Thursday as their 100 per cent record in Europe was broken in a 3-2 defeat.
Questions over their away form, which has seen them fail to win four out of their last clashes outside of L4, will be put on hold with Thomas Frank’s side in town.
They will be looking to continue their unbeaten start at Anfield this season after recent wins over Everton and Nottingham Forest as well as the triumph over West Ham at the end of September.
